time flies when you're getting older! ;) it seems that every birthday comes more quickly than the last.
i had a really fantastic birthday, filled with lots of weekend-before and day-of festivities, thanks to my dear friends. =) saturday was downtown night with dinner at tabule and drinks at suite & tender...sunday was spent recovering...and then last night people came over and we made a chocolate sformato birthday cake, which actually turned out to be a delicious success! it tasted kind of like chocolate souffle, but a little darker and creamier, with toasted almonds and amaretto whip cream...yummmy. i truly feel so grateful and appreciative for my girls in san diego and also the emails, cards and phone calls from afar. =) thanks for always making my birthday feel special.
27 is a good number.

al!! i thought of you too while we were in austin! TX was awesome- i'm actually rooting for ger to go there for college! so maybe next time i can stop by ur pad too! ;)
